The goal of the plan is to improve the health and well-being of Tulsa County residents in order to become the healthiest county in the state

Regional Prevention Coordinators provide regional prevention services by engaging community members, local organizations, public agencies, youth, and the media to change community conditions that contribute to alcohol, tobacco and other drug-related problems.

The TSET Healthy Living Program serving Tulsa County is a community-based grant that strives to prevent and reduce tobacco use and obesity across Tulsa County.

Tulsa Health Department’s Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) specializes in empowering young adults to make proud and responsible decisions, as well as educating them about the dangers and risks associated with sexual activity.

Improving overall health and academic achievement of Tulsa County school-aged children in collaboration with students, schools, and the community by aligning learning and health through comprehensive nutrition and health education.

The Maternal Child Health Outreach program works to identify and address individual maternal and child health issues, needs, and barriers with a focus on improved birth outcomes.

Being prepared in the event of a terrorist attack, natural disaster or other large-scale emergency or public health threat is a necessary part of today’s world.

The TFIMR program studies fetal and infant deaths in our community in order to identify trends and implement preventive measures to reduce the infant mortality rate.

Pathways to Health is an engaging round table of health initiatives for our community. It brings together member agencies, institutions, businesses, foundations, and other community-health stakeholders to share ideas, increase synergies and complement each other’s strengths. 

The use of effective workplace wellness programs and policies can reduce health risks and improve the quality of life for employees.
